Answer #3 | 29/12 2013 23:32
No, you need to connect each of them to the router (wired or wireless) in order to get access to Internet. These are some examples of connecting Xbox to Internet, you could have a look: Hope this helps.

Answer #4 | 29/12 2013 23:40
No. You would have to connect your original Xbox to a router in order to get connection. One device cannot feed internet connection to the other.

What you ask is difficult to do in linux, and almost impossible to do on any microsoft based operating system. here are some options: 1. run a wire from the one without internet to your modem/router/combo. If your modem/router doesn't have enough ports, go to option 2. 2. buy a hub. If you look on amazon, there are some really good hubs for < $10. Just know that you don't need a switch unless you plan on having them both on at the same time streaming 1080p video (still, a hub would still work just fine). 3. buy a splitter. this is my least reccommended option. splitters will GREATLY reduce your internet speed if both boxes are on, even if one is not doing anything, the other side will suffer internet speed loss. Buy this as a last resort. You can find them on amazon < $6 most of the time. Anything more is a waste of money. If you are good at soldering/crimping, you can create your own. Just look up DIY ethernet splitter and you should get plenty of good how-to videos. Hope this helps!
