Yes. Almost every computer programming team has a math major on it to figure out the required algorithms needed for the computing required. But you will also have to know how to do some programming.

If you had number of comp sci courses as electives or as part of your math degree, apply and mention those courses in your cover letter. If you didn't have any r only one, you wouldn't have the knowledge needed for the job.
