I don't think you've done your math right. I don't see how a 15k investment will pay out $517 a month. But yeah, you can buy one, is it a smart thing to buy? Almost certainly not.

Getting a 2005 to 07 should not be a problem in that price range but most of the 08 and up cars are going for at least 30 grand give or take, and you might get a dealer or individual to come down to 25 grand. It sounds like with 2617 a month coming in and only 617 going out in bills right now, that leaves you with 2 grand a month free. I hope your math is correct on that investment, because if not then things could be tight. So yeah if you can spend your savings to buy the car outright then you can afford it. Insurance is not going to be fun but if its paid for then all you need is liability and that should not be real bad (unless your driving record isn't so good), and neither is upkeep they are good cars and don't have a lot of break downs if treated well, but when they do parts come at a premium cost. Good luck :)

I think you can do it bro. I was gonna get one but I got a challenger rt instead. You can get a good Vette for $25. Just make sure you do your oil checks and keep it runnin good and that car will last you a good while man.

I think you should only buy the vette if you keep your other car. Vettes are nice don't get me wrong but it's not a practical car to drive everyday. You should have the Vettte and a winter beater that you can drive and keep the vette in the garage
