You need a wireless router with an Ethernet WAN port as well as the Ethernet LAN ports (most home routers have four LAN ports). Connect your Ethernet cable from the wall to the WAN port. If the sub-net provided by the wall Ethernet is the same as that provided by the router, you will have to log in to the router and change its address to use a different sub-net. If you have to enter specific login information when you connect your computer directly to the wall Ethernet, you might need to enter these parameters into your router. Download the router's manual to check what facilities it has to support any parameters you might need. I hope this helps.
