Let me see. A car headed for the junk yard or recycling center and a car that works? Is there a doubt here? I did a quick search for the Nissan Versa (not "versa" for some reason teens do not know that car names are proper names) of your mileage and found one for $8,895. I do not know where you live but you can do the same. As to the car, please have a mechanic of your choice inspect the car, top to bottom. At times what sounds too good to be true is not. A simple test drive is not enough. Service. If this Versa needs a timing belt service that can run over $1,000. If there are other needs, they can add up quickly. Price alone is not to used to make a decision. If the car checks out OK, then this sounds ideal.

You may do better on a Sentra or last years body style Versa. By buying new you will have new car warranty while paying for the car. Important fact a 80,000+ cat may have some sort of problem that will put you back where you are now. Nissan are good cars remember that Versa did not cost much more than $12,000 brand new. Just saying do your self a favor talk to new car department...
