Not until you have a licensed gas fitter in to cap off the line. Otherwise it will cause an explosion and if the line also services the house, it will explode as well. You will be liable.

No way to tell with out picture. Don`t know how it is set up. you can burn wood in most gas fire places but a pit could be dangers because of the lines going to it.

I suggest you not to risk your life and your property. The gas fire pit may explode. You can get a new one or burn firewood but not in that gas fire pit. Please be careful

not if you ever plan to use it with gas again.... the ash will clog the lines and cause all sorts of problems for the gas... besides, who would take a chance like that with a gas line?... very foolish!!!... I vote 'NO'....all the way....
