Keep in mind that there are no software in the market that has a 11.i. The Blu ray disc is only 7.1 and there are only a limited of them out in the markete. You are not going to notice any difference between 5.1 and 7.1 unless you have a very very large room. As for the 4K, software are very very limited. Sony is the first manufacturer to come out with the 4K tv. Years ago they also was the first to produced an HDTV 34" CRT HDTV. I was one of the first to jump on the band wagon. The only way to get HDTV at that time is through an outside antenna. The tv did not last me more than 3 years and paid the price of $6,400 from the original of $8,000. I would recommend you go online to Sound and Vision Magaine (formally Home Theater Magazine) and read the reviews on all product for you home theater. Then demo them at your local electronic store. This is creitical for speakers, bring your own source of material and listen to each speakers at less 10 minutes and only one song for each each. Let your own ears be the final judge. Some speakers or receiver may not be available at your local store and only at a higher end stopre. Hope this will help you out.
