Honestly, I haven't been keeping up with this. What is the point of immigration reform when immigration laws are never enforced anyway? What a waste of time and money.
Answer #4 | 08/02 2014 09:24
Secure the border first ,,,,, not just say he will . 0bama has already proven himself an untrustworthy liar . Congress has to demand some sore of guarantee 0bama will follow through and he refuses .
Answer #5 | 08/02 2014 09:29
Boehner is just cementing his place as the worst speaker in history. He would rather collect his salary and do nothing than do something that might be credited to his president.
Answer #6 | 09/02 2014 00:22
My thoughts will be spoken in the next elections
Answer #7 | 08/02 2014 09:38
Obama does not want Immigration reform, He just wants amnesty, Big difference between the two.
Answer #8 | 08/02 2014 09:20
Boehner was just reacting to more of Obama's "my way or the highway" bull pucky. He won't enforce laws he doesn't like, so he wants to change them to ones he does and everyone is just supposed to fall down in awe--too bad for him. That's not how it's supposed to work. God forbid anyone question his imagined authority or disagree.
Answer #9 | 08/02 2014 09:18
Obama has deported more people than Bush. It's not anything to do with policy. Obama is just not white and has a funny foreign name and I just can't trust a thing he says because I am an ignorant hillbilly with Civil War era sensibilities. Now where is that remote? I need to watch my hillbilly shows... Low information voters indeed.
Answer #10 | 08/02 2014 09:14
I believe that Boehner has told Obama to take his idea of immigration reform and shove it. Without first implementing border security, there is no reason for any immigration reform.
Answer #11 | 08/02 2014 09:12
My thoughts are that 0bama currently refuses to enforce immigration laws he disagrees with and blocks states from doing so. Why bother with a compromise bill when it is obvious that 0bama won't enforce the laws he compromised.
Answer #12 | 08/02 2014 09:14
Obama isn't enforcing the current immigration laws. Good for the speaker.
Answer #13 | 08/02 2014 09:13
He also said that to members of his own party. The majority of Republicans in this country support immigration reform.
Answer #14 | 08/02 2014 09:15
It's all a show. Boehner knows who his corporate masters are.
Answer #15 | 08/02 2014 09:16
That someone shoved it up Boehner first and he's doing what he was told to do. Man can't wrangle his own party. You can't blame Obama for that and not get laughed at.
Answer #16 | 08/02 2014 09:14
