15 lbs in two months is only 2 lbs per week. Easy to do. Get some exercise. Get out and walk about 2 miles a day. You know the rest. Eat more vegies, less fat and snacks.

Don't be so concerned about how you look and hit the gym and eat a balanced diet. Even if you don't lose the full fifteen pounds it's still a start to better fitness.
