You have to pay for the scores. When you request your free yearly credit reports, they will ask you if you want to pay for the scores. Just say yes and they will tell you the cost. I've had credit for over 50 years and never request my scores because they are just numbers

There is no "best" site to get all three scores. Any site promising all three scores is a third party monitoring service who will give you worthless Fakko scores. They require you to sign up for monitoring service and if you don't cancel within the trial period, you get hit with a monthly fee. The ONLY place consumers can get real FICO scores (what creditors use), is You can only get FICO scores for Equifax and TransUnion. Experian doesn't play well with others. it costs about $20 each. You can get your free annual credit report from each credit bureau online thru This is the site mandated by the FTC and is the only site that won't require you to sign up for monitoring services. Reports are free, scores are not. Don't bother buying scores from any of the three credit bureaus. They all now sell consumers non-FICO scores that are on different scales -- worthless. No, pulling your own credit does not impact your score. It's a soft inquiry.

What you can get free once a year is the report, not the score. Also, although you have 3 reports, you have hundreds of scores. You can get all three reports for free once a year at but only if you get only the reports. If you also get any of the scores, then it's not free. You can get some of the scores for free at creditkarma, quizzle, and various other places. Most of the scores are not free, not ever.

There is no need to waste money on all 3 credit scores. FICO is the real score and it's the only one that matters. It's never free. It will cost $20 for a one time score. - Checking your own credit or score never damages your credit rating. - There are free credit score estimation services. If you can live with a rough estimation and you don't want to pay, then use Credit Karma: - Anyone who has shopped at Target this year can get one year of free credit monitoring through Experian:
