There IS a cure for RA. RA is caused by chronic dehydration. Avoid soft drinks and other non-water beverages that contribute to dehydration. Instead, drink only fresh clean water (no additives other than lemon juice if preferred - but no sugar). Also, increase your salt intake. Water and salt are the two most important resources the body needs to live. Between respiration, kidney function and the water loss through the pores to regulate body temperature, you lose over 1/2 gallon of water every day - this water MUST be replaced. When it isn't, health problems start. Water is the lubricating "oil" the joints need to move easily. When you get dehydrated, the cartilage between the joints starts to dry out causing painful friction. Not correcting the problem by this stage, the joints then begin to crumble and calcium deposits embed themselves around the joint, causing inflammation and swelling. Correcting the original problem of dehydration will allow the cartilage to repair itself and, depending on the severity, dissolve the calcium deposits.
