Hi! I'm not sure how the DVD thing works but I do have a camcorder that I have been trying to sell. It is a Toshiba Camileo x416. It is in really good condition, but I need to sell it since I have not been using it. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested and I can send pictures and answer any questions. Thank you!

The most common "camcorder" these days records to a memory card, sometimes in a format that is "upload ready" for youtube clips, other times to a format that needs conversion before use elsewhere. If you want DVD, then you need software to convert, there is usually some floating around in Chrismas free offers, as well as freeware, and many decent DVD writer software suites such as Nero. Price range is key, as they run from very cheap, 300k pixel models (ok for a bit of youtube, but many mobile phones can do it just as well), to those capable of recording in HD. There are several styles, from screenless models that are small and easy to conceal., to the "slab" style with screen and controls on the back - Kodak did some waterproof "playsport" models in this style, to those that follow the handycam style or a pistol grip handle. The style is important if you are shooting handheld, a comfortable and natural grip is important. Another feature that's very useful is antishake, and optical is superior to digital

Sony camcorder value bundles include camcorder, bags, tripods, memory cards etc. This camcorder can shoot 1080p video at 60 frames per second, while most cameras can shoot 1080p video only at 30 frames per second.
