I'm Christian, and nothing holds me back when I want to do something I might or do enjoy. And I believe it would be the same for countless other religious followers. So no, I don't agree with it.

Unless you are an extremist religion I don't think it makes much difference. I am atheist and often feel like I'm not chained down when I compare myself to people who are religious. If anything religious people have to work harder to justify themselves to their peers and themselves, and also to make their lives conform to their beliefs.

I'm an atheist but I don't think religious views can determine how hard a person works.

I disagree, people of all faiths can be equally hard working or the opposite... It depends on the individual!
