It could be the colder room,see your doctor,any change in asthma symptoms should be investigated,you may just need some extra medication at night for a while.

Try elevsting your head about 45 degress at night it might help you breathe better. Sometimes laying flat on your back or stomach with a history or breathing problems can inhibit your respiration process which slows down during sleep.

Cold weather affect asthma, Lot of sneezing. Buy yourself a portable heater for your room. Did you clean your room when you came back from uni.? It is important and you know it.
