Possibly no, since you live there. Most policies require that ALL licensed drivers that live in a household be listed on the policy, the reason is that at ANY time, you have accessed to ANY vehicle. You do not need to be using for work or school, but, the fact that even occasionally you drive, you can occasionally have an accident. Most likely since not using on regular basis like driving to work, could make you rated a lot lower.

Does the insurance company know about you? If not, you may have a problem. If so, you are probably good to go. Many times when I see questions like this, I wonder if "you" are trying to pull a "fast one" over the insurance company. The last thing you or the owner of the car want is a problem with their insurance company after a bad car accident. You don't want a whiff of "insurance fraud" to exist at times like that. Good Luck and don't defraud the insurance company.
