If u get what u paid for u will be lucky. Do not do this again that's how these people operate, tell u to deposit money then u never hear from them again. For your sake i do hope this is not one of those cases and u do get what u paid for

I cannot understand why alarm bells were not ringing when he would not handle such a large transaction via Paypal which would have been the safest route.
You have no means of a refund now, and no back up on the payment direct into his bank account.
Keep your fingers crossed and home you get lucky and the seller is honest. If not you will have to kiss your money goodbye

"Anyone got any advise, please make it positive? "
Its a bit stupid to say this , cos all you are saying is - say things that will make me feel better/calmer
"What should i do if it goes wrong?"
There s nothing you can do
If its going to go wrong it already has
If the person you sent the money to is dishonest -
you have sent them the money, and there is no way you can get it back
They have withdrawn it from their account
You wont see whatever it is they are supposed to be selling.
You will never hear from them again
There is no way you can trace them.
The only thing for you to do is hope they are honest.
