You may have a faulty wire somewhere between the ignition switch & the starter itself. If possible try using a DVOM to see if you have power running through the wires. Make sure you check in more than one spot. Try starting with that

In your case my answer will be sweet and short: The contacts wore out inside the Ignition switch Go to the Auto part store and ask them for the "Ignition switch" . The "Electrical part" not the "Ignition lock cylinder" Got it? Then go home, get on and searching for those videos about "How to replace ..." on your vehicle. Got it? Good and have fun taking care of your car..

if the battery is fully charged and the battery terminals are clean and tight then it could be the solenoid sticking and not kicking the starter in !
