DON'T USE HOLIDAY GAS!!! -dirty gas filter-put injector -cleaner in tank- make sure you have more than a quarter tank of gas-

The problem is not with the battery and its connections. The ECU commands a fuel cut, even though you step hard on the gas pedal. I am suspecting failure of the tachometer sensor (rpm sender unit) This sensor sits on top of the transmission beside the engine compartment rear bulkhead. It is held down by a single bolt, and has an electrical connector. I had this experience before, and had to restart engine 8 times before I arrived at my local autoshop. Good luck.
