Many tens of thousands of Americans die each year anyway, mainly they just die of old age. If you blame Bush for some of these maybe you should be more specific.

Intelligent people (i.e. not you, nor most of the YA liberal dregs) know that Bush did not cause 9/11 or the Recession, and they would have happened even if Gore or Kerry had been elected. There was no laxness by Bush which allowed 9/11 to happen, and it was not Bush policies which caused the recession. Please stop being an idiot, even if just for a few minutes.

Actually, the nations' economists now believe the overall impact of the Bush-inspired meltdown was much more costly than the Great Depression...and it's going to take far longer to fully recover from it - if we ever actually DO recover from it!

I never say he was a great president. I do point him out as a political comparative study of the effectiveness of Conservative versus Progressive economic policy though. His few solidly Conservative policies, like the tax cuts, worked very well. His Progressive steak was responsible for running up an additional $5 trillion in debt and allowed for the mortgage meltdown to happen.

All that and he's somehow better than Obama. And then they complain about Golf. Bush played more golf pre 9/11 than Obama has since 2009.
