Kill them inside your house whenever you see them. Destroy webs and egg sacs. Spiders don't just "appear" out of nowhere--but because they are very mobile creatures, sleeping in a hammock won't stop them from dangling down from a web over your head, either. Clean the room thoroughly. Seal up your windows and make sure there are no egg sacs anywhere. You won't see them if they don't breed in your house.

No, a spider can get into a hammock just as easy as a bed. Most spiders are equipt with a line of silk, which makes it simple to go just about anywhere they want to go.

No, if anything it will attract more spiders. You may wake up wrapped in that hammock like a fly in a spider's web.
