Under the skin, Seat are basically audi/vw/skoda Its pretty much a golf with a seat badge. vw audi group are well known for exceptional build quality and reliability. Parts can be pricey though.

As said, Seat are part of the VAG. So the engine, transmission and running gear will be VW. VW are very reliable and spares are plentiful. As long as it has FSH and you test drive it thoroughly it should be fine.

Do u mean the fsi or the tdi? Early 2 litre seal/vw diesels had problems with turbos/ecu/flywheels but the modern ones have had those problems fixed my the manufacturers, if the cars only 2 years old, has FSH and is under 60,000 miles it should still be under manufacturers warranty anyways. If its out of warranty you want to have a look at the service history, what its had done and when, and if its due anything from the miles its done since - like the clutch or the turbo or the cam belt.
