you won't get turned down but if you do get the epidural without insurance covering you, it maybe very costly. if you know your insurance is going to get cut, talk to the hospital about it. what you can do in some cases is pay for the epidural ahead of time before labor. if its prepaid its usually cheaper than postpaid. and you CAN negotiate the price ahead of time and pay for it ahead of time. I highly recommend doing this since your insurance is going to get cut off. that way since its already paid for before labor you won't need to stress out. otherwise, you will need to pay a high price for it. i don't see an issue pre-paying for it since you know you're going to use the epidural. most people don't pre-pay because they're worried they might not use epidural during labor and they won't be refunded. but in your case you should prepay for it and your insurance ends tomorrow.
