Answer #4 | 23/12 2013 07:05
Because belief is not a choice; it's something you come by based on your knowledge, experience, and way of processing information. Trying to force yourself to practice something you don't really believe in or that isn't really important to you is simply being dishonest with yourself and it doesn't feel right--it's unsettling to live a lie.

It sounds like you are talking about someone who is not used to any religious knowledge. Like it's all new to them. At a time when someone is not used to the subject, I would think it was normal for them to question things about religion. They simply don't know enough at the time to make a decision about it.

the simple answer is, he has not become born again. and if he does not desire to becoe a christian, nor a latter day saint, they will lose the cup they couldve drank from. but realisitically one who has no desire will not drink until the time is humble for him to receive it. however one should remember not to procrastinate the day of repentance. because there is a God. and from the lips of jesus himself, He said "do not join any of them" they are all "wrong".

Answer #8 | 23/12 2013 07:08
Because becoming a Christian is a work of Jesus Christ. If one could "force" themselves to be Christian, then that would works based righteousness and not the grace of God through faith.

Why are you so bothered about that.? If you are really religious, dont worry about dragging people to the religion that you believe in..Leave them instead, and let them know what their path is by themselves.
