Yes you should do. But make 100% sure that you get your paycheck. Wait until next week and if you still don't get it, go back to him and let him know, and don't leave without it!

No, it does not mean that you will be paid for two weeks on your second week. And, no, they aren't really "holding" a paycheck. There isn't yet a paycheck to hold. Every week, you get paid for the previous week. In your second week, you get paid for the first week. In your third week, you get paid for your second week. In your 105th week, you get paid for your 104th week. Etc. The reason for this is that it takes days to add up how many hours each person worked, calculate how much money they made, calculate how much money to withhold for tax, and print the checks, etc.
