Everyone doing BACS payments has to use BACS Ltd. The timetable is: Day 1 - the payer initiates the payment Day 2 - the payment is processed Day 3 - the money is in your account. These days exclude weekends and bank holidays. DWP will always initiate the payment in time for you to receive it on the day they say you should get it. What bank you bank with is irrelevant.

If it is due Mon it will be there Mon unless DWP have put a stop on it for any reason. It may be available to you from just after midnight or from bank opening hours 0800 ish or even later in the day but it will be on the day you have been told.
