fruits and veggies don't affect "blood levels." Although the old Romans and Greek thought drinking red wine increased red blood (I'll drink to that). Endurance exercises will increase blood volume. Meat, particularly red meat and liver, give you iron and this iron is far better absorbed than other food sources of iron; dark green and leafy vegetables such as chard, kale, and spinach are good sources of non-meat iron. Whole cereal grains such as whole wheat bread and bran will give you some iron. Fish and poultry, beans, raisins, and prunes, foods rich in Vit. C will help increase your hematocrit levels. Otherwise, a blood transfusion is the only way to increase blood levels.
