At 6'7 you're going to find that a mid-sized dual sport is not made for a person your size comfort-wise but both the bikes you are interested are about normal. If a beginner I believe if you took it easy for awhile to learn you should be okay on the KLR, the KTM is a bigger bike but also a lot more powerful and not one I would recommend as a beginner bike no matter your size. You didn't mention riding experience so it makes it a bit difficult to suggest any larger machine. Added- by riding experience I meant any dirt-bike use.
