When will the U.S. nickel be changing in composition?

Answer this question

  • When will the U.S. nickel be changing in composition?

Answer #1 | 23/12 2013 10:12
There are no plans to change the composition of the nickel. As of this date the value of the metal content of the nickel is 4.5 cents and it is unlikely to change much to the upside. You would be investing in a kind of commodity. No harm done though, as the nickel will always be worth a 5 cents, absent any inflation.
