It could be your clutch pilot bearing, transmission or transfer case.

You didn't say if it makes the noise while stopped or while moving. If it makes the noise while moving, I'd say it's definitely something wrong with the transmission or transfer case. If while stopped, it might just be the pilot bearing. The only way to tell will be to pull the trans/transfer case and look.
