first lets recap the meaning of the word Demi-pointes demi-pointes (deh-mee'-pwant) This means to rise on to the ball of the foot so you should already be on demi-pointes! if you mean pointes then you need years of training to strengthen your feet. I am on pointe and I have been dancing 10 and 1/2 years! but demi-pointe if what the little kids do you should be there soon, granted we are in the uk so we might have a different higherachey in dance! xx good luck
