Russell is correct on Peavey. I love the raw sound although I use an old Peavey Musician with 4 x12 cab. But more often than not, I like using my old Jazz Chorus for the tone and cleanness. You might have a look at But the Line 6 Spider is in my opinion better than the Peavey I love the Spider's modern and vintage amp tones and their revolutionary and adjustable Smart FX. Its worth a look. Finally, if you can afford it, the Fender 5 is a very good choice or the Fender G series which can even connect to your computer via a USB. Interesting feature.
