there is no treatment for psycopathy, and seeing how you're only sixteen i'd like to tell you that it takes around 1-2 years to get a proper diagnosis and even then you would need further examinations to fully determine whether you're a psycopath or not, most sixteen year olds think they're schizophrenic or psychopathic but usually it's just something they read about or seen on tv and think it's cool to pretend they have this serious mental disorder. So i think you're fine.

If you were, you wouldn't be interested in treatment. You are not a psychopath. A hypochondriac, possibly.

We don't use the term psychopathy any more. We refer to personality disorders. Your Mum probably will tell you what all lecturers in psychology / psychiatry know already - that students who read this stuff for the first time all believe that they've got all the symptoms of everything in DSM whatever edition they're looking at!! Try looking at some of the other disorders, you'll probably have all or some of the symptoms of those too! Stop worrying, and maybe discuss this with a mental health professional other than your Mum.
