Hi, first of all no one has the right to interfere on our personal life. For me, i would accept if the person has the guts to ask the question whether personal or not to me face to face rather than asking to other people. Because the option to answer that question yes or no is up to us. When it comes to human right it says in Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights provides that:Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence. So, that person, in legality, he is surely wrong for what he did. Hope this will help you somehow.... :)
