No, will simply have caused extra wear on brake linings, possibility of stretched cables. Not danger to car or drivers.

Nothing will happen driving with it on for that short of a time. If you leave it on for a long time like a couple miles or wile driving at high speeds you can damage the pads and rotors and you will need to replace them.
