Franklin BBQ is the place everyone is talking about. Anthony Bourdain even agreed it was the best BBQ he's ever had. It's not easy to get though. You have to wait in line starting at 9 am and hope they don't sell out before you make it inside. There's a huge line out there every single day. People bring chairs and coolers and make an event out of it. The Salt Lick is a great experience, too, especially if you are visiting from out of town. It's outside the city 13 miles and absolutely work the trek. It seats about 1,000 people, so the wait is never too long. People come from all over the world to eat there.
