Hi! Unfortunately, the books probably have three new editions by now - it's a racket! Can you donate them? There might be a local library who, despite their age, could use them. Or a school library. Budgets have been cut and there is little or no money for new acquisitions. How about the local High School teacher? They may know some students who could put them to good use. Or a local thrift store. Where I have lived (Oshawa and Vancouver) there are organizations who do pick ups - like Big Brothers. Smaller towns are tougher, but with a little ingenuity, you'll find someone who can use the books. If all else fails, textbooks are recyclable. Of you could use them as kindling. I am cringing as I suggest this, but it's better than the landfill!
