Brunch is when you feel like having something that you would normal eat for breackfast but around lunch time (say if you got up late) or if you fancy eating at around 11am so it is a mix between the two so its called Brunch take the B from breackfast and get rid of the L from Lunch and put them togeather

Brunch comes from the combination of the words breakfast and lunch. Brunch is a meal eaten between the times of breakfast in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. Normally people eat brunch because they have slept in a little later than normal. Although closer to lunch time, breakfast foods are normally eaten such as eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast.
