Honestly ? I've think so ! Three out of four units I've had surviving the drama by staying in the rice for about 24 hrs. with the exception of the original 1st production of the I-phone which took a plunge into the bathtub. May be the only thing set my cases and yours apart is I took all of my casing apart, dried the internal parts with compressed air can that I buy from electronic or computer places then "Dip" them completely into a rice bucket. How did you do yours? I'm sorry for your phone. It's a very good one too. Try a second place and see what they can do to repair it.
