Yes, actually it was 116 years between France and England from 1337 to 1453.

No. It was part of the thousand-year war between England and France which started in 1066 and shows no sign of ending. Admittedly, English and French soldiers haven't killed each other in battle since 1943 (that dare IS correct), the battlefield these days being committee rooms in Brussels, and the weapons of choice EU directives - but it's a wear nonetheless. France is winning.
