If they're tournaments then no, that's not real money, those are tournament chips. But the buy-in for some of those tourneys is 10,000 (main event) or in some cases 50,000. But on the cash game shows like Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker, it's all real money (some in high-value chips and some in bricks of cash) and the minimum buy-in is $100,000 (but some guys buy in for $500,000).
