There's a really cool science center (it's not nerdy or lame) it's fun and a great place for the family, and an absolutely brilliant restaurant - and yes, award winning also - is The Square, it is fabulous! But must be booked, here's the website - Hope this helps.

Bristol Aquarium, Bristol Zoo Gardens, Bristol Science Centre, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Clifton Suspension Bridge.. if you want to venture a wee bit further you could visit Wookey Hole Caves and Attractions, Noah's Ark Zoo Farm or Cheddar Gorge to name just a few. Hope this helps.
