She cannot claim the State Pension until she becomes of age ( see the calculator) she will have to contact DWP for a pension forecast which can take some weeks. I am not able to receive the new pension as I retired 6 years ago and did not have the full contributions. Only the DWP can tell her how much she has paid in and what she will get and when. There are no married or single women these days, we all get the same. Those days have long since gone. UK

YES, YES oh YES, the GMP will pay a woman pension even if she has worked sporadically, BUT, BUT oh BUT only after she reaches the official pensionable age of 65 years currently.
