backup your files&folder copy past your pendrive installin your new computer.

Go ahead and plug into your new harddrive and run the system. The OS will try its best to adjust to the new hardware. To check in case it is not, you will be prompted, or right click on MyComputer and Properties, go to Device Manager, those problem hardware will be highlighted. Open them and update them. It should be running fine after that.

I recently did this. I had stored stuff I wanted on Dropbox, USB Sticks and portable Hard Drives. I just called them off as I needed them.

If you have external hard drive you can connect your old hard disk to your pc and transfer files to new HD. Other method is connect it internaly and transfer files.
