Federally there is the GST - Goods and Services Tax States impose several other forms of tax : If you own commercial property or is the property is above a certain value depending on the state there are land taxes. There is also Stamp Duty on property transfers, insurance contacts etc. States also charge Payroll tax about 6% of the gross wages a company pays. Local Council charge rates on properties but only to the owners of the property
