If someone is charging feesd, go somewhere else. There shouldn't be any fees for transferring money.

you should ask yourself the question in which funds do you want to invest and are those funds anoted at a foreign stockmarket and when you have a debt with your bank would it then wisely to open an brokerage account with them and when compare the accounts together use small money amounts and investing money can mean also that you can loose the amount of money invested in those funds
