Just tell them you can work weekends only, no other time. Most people your age only work then. If they say no, then quit. Good luck.

You wouldn't be given all those hours if they weren't highly satisfied with your performance. Its rare for someone young as you to be treated as an adult worker in that respect. And btw, most food service workers have to work overtime here and there to complete the shift work without pay - it's the nature of the business. It doesn't seem like this profession is for you, because you'd be happy about your job. Yes, you should probably give two weeks notice and try out what you think you're interested in.
