this is called tax evasion you report this income on Sch C and possibly SE as well and include it with the income of each of you

Well since you wouldn’t technically get a pay they can't garnish your wages but they could garnish your husband’s wages, you have tax liens and levy your property.

The real issue is that you aren't paying into your retirement fund (OAS & CPP). When you are old you will get much less money because you've paid a lot less over the course of your life. And then if you get caught you will have to pay the taxes plus penalties and interest. Good Luck

It really depends on the scale, if youre not reporting $3,000 in income every year youre not going to go to jail. just remember your clients may report what they pay you on their taxes, so youd have to get caught that way
