It depends. If it is from a normal physical school, I'd consider it. If it is Excelsior, I would think twice since some states will not accept your RN education if it is through an online program like Excelsior. CA is big on that. My school offers the Medic to RN but so few people take it. It is basically 3 semesters and one semester has pharmacology and adult health. Then the other two semesters is the final year of the nursing school where we have the traditional RN students and the LPN to RN students take. Our school required X amount of hours as a paramedic. I forget the actual amount required.
