Fix what...? In either case it was your fault. You're lucky that your pup's alright & that you have yet to burn the house down. IF you choose to "fix" said blanket, the latter is sure to happen. Toss the blanket & be more careful from now on for everyone's safety......

You crate your pup when you can't watch it, and / or keep your bedroom door closed. Problem fixed. Oh, and get a new electric blanket.

Not going to happen, as it's an impossibility to accomplish such a feat. Your choices are: a) keep your puppy away from your new electric blanket so you don't have to worry about him frying himself, OR, b) just get a regular blanket that doesn't require electricity (they still do make them)
