Open chrome and paste this in: chrome://settings/searchEngines Then delete Bing. If it still happens, it may be an extension. Go here and disable any extension that may be controling tabs: chrome://extensions/

On the top right, there is an icon with 3 rows. click it. Then go to settings and then on the second option, it will be written, On Startup and three dots will appear. click on the last one which says: Open a specific page or set of pages. then on the right of this box click set pages, and now you can delete the bing page and add google page. hope this helps.
